He has missed her in the forest While he showed her all the flowers And the branches sang the chorus As he climbed the scaly towers Of a forest tree While she was somewhere being free

Ariel + Justine Del Mar Wedding
"Meeting you was the best thing that ever happened to me, you are outgoing, confident and an emotionally strong person, the opposite of who i was when we first met.
Through you, i was able to find my own strength and confidence to help me succeed in life, when i think about who i was and who I’ve become, and the direction I’m headed, its all because of you, you have always been my motivation and inspiration in everything that i do, you continue to support me and challenge me when you know I’m making a mistake...
I’m eternally grateful"
Words from Ariel to Justine, its always a wonderful feeling to have someone who supports you, complete you and love you...
It feels good to love and to be loved.

Shot side by side with Dondee Quincena
2015 was rather a challenging year, business plannings, failed marketing attempts, heartbreaks and priorities. This year was quite a challenge but also a year of learning, so much lessons have been taken note of and thanks to the people who are close and dear to me that lifted me up when i was at my lowest.
Now im ready to welcome next year with new beginnings and priorities... watch out 2016, im comin at ya!
Heres some highlight of this year
Happy new year everyone!
It was a perfect day in San Diego (as always), I had no specific plans for the shoot, I just took whatever I could grab from my closet as props and off I went. I’m usually spontaneous with my shoots, I like to embrace the beauty of uncertainties and just let everything unfold in front of me, maybe it’s the reportage photographer in me. I always tell my clients that all photo sessions with me will always be unscripted, spontaneous and most of all… fun. The experience during the shoot matters more to me than the output, because your output is always dependent on whether your subject is having fun or not. Let them have fun, enjoy the moment with them, play with them, get to know them, don’t change them but reveal them. Just always be ready to capture every bit of fun, happiness and all the love that will unfold right before your eyes. Trust me it’s beautiful.
It’s impossible not to love this family, they’re fun loving, easy to work with and easy going, a family with a good sense of style and obviously well-bonded; these are things that I find so admirable. Their chill vibe is something we should all take note of, not worrying too much about what lies ahead but enjoying the present, being able to have fun and loving every moment of it, savoring every bit of whats in front of you – the beauty of the present. pretty much like taking photos, don’t take them planned or scripted. Just enjoy, have fun and let everything happen, never dictate it but embrace it, time can pass by so fast to be too wary about the future. Besides, what determines the future is what you do in the present – Love the present.
Tory + Dawn Engagement session
I’ve never been touched by a couple’s “how it all started” story as much as Dawn and Tory did, Tory have known Dawn for two years, they started out as friends but he’s had the likes for Dawn ever since. Dawn had no idea how much feelings Tory had for her so the love story began in the friendzone and just being there for each other as time passes by. After years of “waiting for the moment“, movies, hangin out and just simply being there for Dawn, Tory was finally able to gather all the courage to officially ask Dawn out and tell her everything…well, by now we know how it all went.
I had so much fun the entire time we were shooting, they’re just so in love that they cant take their eyes and lips off each other, the love was overflowing and happiness was brighter than sunshine, i cant help but notice all the smiles that comes out of their face while they share their love story, all those giggles, the laughs, the kisses… love vibrated so much energy i felt the warmth as they hugged each other, its was a great experience to see love unfold right before your eyes, i actually couldn’t help but share a little bit of my stories too, and Tory’s advice is… just go for it!
Just like in the movies, this is a perfect story of strangers became friends, to lovers and now… soon to be husband and wife, it makes me so much happy that i was able to capture the love of this very beautiful couple.
I first met Dawn a couple of years back at a video shoot for her song “All of your days” for the Matt Wadleigh LOVE foundation, it was a very intimate night in a studio dimly lit with candles with few chosen guests and the fragrant scent of incense built up the vibe as Dawn and her band serenaded us with her captivating voice. That was the first time I met and heard Dawn sing and she struck me, she made me loose focus, I usually tend to tunnel vision and focus on shooting every time I have a camera on hand, but her music had me sit down and listen, it was a very lovely night to remember.
Years went by and a couple of portrait sessions after, I received the news from Dawn that she is getting married to Tory. I’ve never met Tory until our engagement shoot and I found out how amazing of a guy Tory is when Dawn told me about their love story, He was friend zoned for a couple of years leaving Dawn oblivious about his feelings for her, so just by being there for Dawn for years, he waited for the right moment, years went by until Tory finally gathered all the guts and told Dawn how he feels… well, it obviously went well.
Their story is a living example of a love story that we only see in the movies, from strangers to friends, to being friend zoned, going against all the odds, then finally, they become lovers, as cliché as it sounds… it’s real, it’s beautiful.
One thing I learned from Dawn and Tory is that no matter what, keep loving, regardless of the odds, whether you’ll live happily ever after or not, never hesitate, embrace it, LOVE is a beautiful thing, it’s pure… don’t be afraid of it.

Dan + Lorie
They were in their 40s when they met and were both previously married – like all couples, they’ve had all the highs and lows in their relationship, but weathered the lows together, now they will live happily ever after as they start a new life together, this just proves that its always never too late to find true love.
This is probably the most intimate wedding I’ve ever done and i felt really privileged to witness this love unfold amongst the chosen and closest family members and friends, they both exchanged their vows flash mob style atop of the cliff backdropped by San Diego’s gorgeous sunset… saying I Do has never been so perfect.
